Off-Topic Google Reviews and How to Get Them Removed
Google expects reviews to be about a real experience at the business. Reviews about something else can be removed.
Common examples
- Complaints about public parking, traffic, or the neighborhood.
- Political or social commentary.
- Reviews meant for a different business with a similar name.
- Rants about a news story rather than a visit.
How to report it
Flag it under off-topic content and, if needed, explain in an appeal what the review is actually about.
Wrong-business reviews
If the review clearly describes another location or business, say so in the appeal and point out the details that don’t match yours.
