Reviews That Attack Staff by Name: Can They Be Removed?

A complaint about service is allowed. A personal attack on a named employee often isn’t.

What crosses the line

Insults, threats, accusations of crimes, comments about someone’s appearance or identity, and sharing personal details about a staff member.

What usually stays

"Our server, Sam, forgot our order" is a genuine complaint and is unlikely to be removed.

How to report it

Flag the review under harassment or personal information, and mention the staff member affected in any appeal.

Support your team

Tell the employee you are handling it, and avoid naming them again in your public reply.
