Why Did My Google Reviews Disappear?

Reviews sometimes disappear without anyone reporting them. It is usually Google’s spam filters at work.

Common reasons

• Google’s automated systems flagged the review as spam or fake.
• The reviewer deleted it or their account was removed.
• The review came from the same network or device as the business.
• Your profile was merged, moved, or suspended.

Can you get them back?

If genuine reviews were removed by mistake, you can contact Business Profile support, but there is no guarantee they will be restored.

How to prevent it

Avoid asking customers to review on your in-store Wi-Fi or tablet, don’t offer incentives, and let reviews come in naturally rather than in bursts.
